Monitoring the risk of hemorrhage

Where people bleed excessively or have impaired wound healing, a blood clotting disorder (hemorrhagic diathesis) may be a contributing factor. A precise analysis is necessary in order to use an appropriate hemostatic agent during operations or childbirth or in the case of injuries.

• Clarification of an existing bleeding tendency from clinical and laboratory perspectives
• Bleeding tendency must be ruled out prior to operations, invasive procedures or before childbirth
• Perioperative coagulation management, therapy recommendations (excluding hemophilia treatment)
